Service
The overall goal is to develop solid state lighting for next
generation demands. The highlight group is pioneer for superior
experiments and advanced theoretical investigations in this filed:
50 LED-related patents and up to 16 technology transfers. Because
Taiwan LED companies stuck in international LED patents, innovative
techniques are currently being pursued to break the patent
stranglehold. The highlight group provides primary functional
capabilities incorporated with the Taiwan LED industry: including
synthesis, processing, characterization, high resolution
microstructural analysis, computing analysis, modeling and
visualization. These anticipated results through the highlight group
will be patented to help the Taiwan LED industry and speed up
development and commercialization of advanced LED semiconductor
lighting devices. The research activities to advance this technology
will assuredly benefit the semiconductor industries on a future
scope.
