Center Introduction
The objectives of the highlight group in National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) are to conduct solid state lighting related research, to integrate the resources from different departments, to promote college-industry partnership, and to enhance collaboration and cooperation with national and international organizations. The highlight group has an area of approximately 400 m2 and has provides a class 100/1000/10000 clean-room complex. The primary mission of the highlight group is to serve as center of research leading to the new high-technology development on saving energy. The highlight group’s research programs include basic and applied studies of solid-state light-emitting devices, display technology, photovoltaic devices, III-Nitrides, III-V, II-VI and IV-IV compound semiconductors.
